FOX SPORTS has revealed which kids name has taken the UK top spot in the popularity rankings of their favourite creative names.
The creative boy names have been nominated for their impact on the creative and artistic lives of young people in the UK.
The winners were selected by a panel of judges from across the UK and Ireland.
The list of top creative boy and girl names was created by creative and arts education charity, The Art Education Trust.
The name is an homage to the Irishman, the son of a famous Irish poet, Patrick of Gaeilge.
The boy and his girlfriend are said to be “creative boys” by the Irish poet Patrick of the Gaeils of Gaedhlaigh, who died in 1765.
The Gaeildach, or Gaeileach, is the Gaelic name for a son of Patrick and a daughter of Eamonn of Monaghan.
It’s also an Irish name for Patrick of Monahan, who is credited with writing the poem “The Gaelic Song of the Boy”.
This year’s list is the first time Irish artists have won the prestigious prize.
The winner was Irish artist and poet Paul O’Neill who won the title for “The Boy of Gaitan”, a song written by his wife, poet Tania O’Sullivan, in 2009.
