RTE is pleased to announce that we have updated our Creative Car Audio app to work with Google’s new Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones.
The new Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL smartphones are now available for download from the Google Play store.
Users will need to download the Creative Car App from the Android Market to use the new Pixel apps.
The Pixel 2 phones come with Google Assistant installed, so we can now create and listen to music using your voice.
To do so, you’ll need to connect your Pixel 2 phone to the computer using a USB cable.
Then, open the Pixel 2 app on the Pixel device and enter the name of your music app and the name you want to listen to.
Tap the Create button to open the Google Assistant app and listen in.
The Creative Car app is also available in the Google Store for free for new users.
We’re happy to announce this is the first time we’ve enabled Google Assistant support on a Pixel device.
Google Assistant is a voice-activated voice search and control for your smart home.
We’ll continue to work on adding more useful and useful Google Assistant features for your Pixel devices.
Google’s Assistant for phones and tablets was first announced at I/O this year.
The app is available on Android, iOS and Amazon Fire tablets.

Creative Car Audio was first released for iOS in December 2017.
The new Pixel smartphones come with the Google Home Mini app, so you can control your car audio remotely with your phone.
It also includes a dedicated Home Assistant button, which is available in both the Home Assistant app on Android and Google Assistant on iOS.
